Authors for TravelBackpacker.com has a range of functions available in their personalized author account. Authors can write, edit and delete stories or story drafts at their convenience.

My Email List
Every registered author has a personalized list of their family and friends. You can easily add, edit or delete email address from this list.

After you write a new story, you can easily have an email message sent to the email addresses on your email list. This way, you don't have to worry about sending out mass emailings or telling a bunch of people about your stories. Included in the email message is a link directly to your new story.

What if I want to edit a story I have written?
Editing your stories is easy. Just click on the link that says My Stories and you will see a screen like the one to the right.

Can visitors to the website see my email address?
NO. The only one who can see your email address is when you. If a visitor sends an email message to you, they do not see your actual email address. Our server automatically forwards all emails to the email address that is listed in your author profile.

What if I do not want to receive email messages from visitors?
When you registered as an author, you chose whether it was ok for visitors to email you. To change your email preference, just go to your profile (My Profile) and edit your author profile to accept or deny email messages from visitors.
