Going, Going....

Sunday, January 24

Just spoke to Elliot and he said you'd like to try South America for you next continent. Well, I'm going to beat you or meet you there. I am heading to Brazil for Carnival. Then I'm going to learn Spanish fluently. Lots been happening. I'm excited to set out. What's new with you?

Job is gone. Boston is done. I'm outta here in less than two weeks--by myself. I'm meeting a friend in Brazil for Carnival. She's staying with friends there and I'm crashing with them. Should be a blast. Send any info you have. I'll be in Michigan, probably, at the end of this. My roommate is working on a start-up Internet company that I will probably join if we get venture capital. We could know pretty soon. I would move to L.A., but this is all hype until we get the financing. Until then, I'm going to try to become fluent in Spanish and travel the continent. Any good stories there? I got your itinerary but what else? My life keeps getting better since I have decided to make the trip. I love it! Talk to you soon.

For those of you that I haven't had a chance to talk with recently, I just wanted to let you know that I'm heading down to South America next Monday for an extended period of time. Salvador, Brazil will be my first stop where I'll experience Carnival for a week. Then, who knows? Those that I have talked to have recommended that I keep them updated as to my whereabouts from time to time. Since I am going to be having too much fun to write thousands of postcards, I thought I'd try to use e-mail, when possible, to keep you informed. If any of you don't want be on this list for fear of extreme jealousy then simply let me know and I'll grant your request. Otherwise, I hope to share my upcoming adventures with each of you--for as long as they shall last.
